Urban trauma continues to plague our communities.  Children are exposed to community violence, family violence, abuse and neglect, severe poverty, and racial injustice well into adulthood. The impact of racism, classism, and cultural clashes continue to be predisposing factors that lead to despair, mental illness, physical impairment, and recurrent trauma experiences.

This series of training was designed to intentionally identify, address and examine critical elements of exposure to urban trauma and the clinical implications. Creating a platform for behavioral health professionals, educators, and community members to unify and support critical services.
